A quick update…
Sunday Reflections – What a fantastic Lord’s Day! We were all touched by the testimonies of those who were baptized, not to mention the SPONTANEOUS response of those who were prompted by the Spirit to step up and go public with their faith. WOW. This never gets old! CONGRATULATIONS to all those who were baptized. Look for your names in this Sunday’s Worship Folder.

Construction Update – There is a whole lot of dust being stirred by a group of FANTASTIC VOLUNTEERS. Inside, there is a brand new classroom being made, by swapping the existing offices and moving them to 110, and turning those office rooms into one large classroom. The convenience of this location is going to be a real plus. Add to this, the ongoing LANDSCAPING efforts. It’s looking so AWESOME. Our thanks to all the volunteers who are making both of these things possible. Way to go guys and gals!

October/November Events – Here’s a brief look at what you can expect to enjoy over the upcoming weeks:

This Sunday – The final message in our series PARADOX. We will enjoy COMMUNION together, and we’ll be welcoming in NEW MEMBERS. Come expecting an outstanding morning.

SPIRITUAL EMPHASIS WEEKEND: November 5-7 – RAY VANDER LAAN. As you know, this will be an UNFORGETTABLE weekend for us. This is designed to be a SPIRITUAL EMPHASIS WEEKEND. It will be a tremendous boost to our Church Family. I’d like to make one last appeal to each of you to not pass on this one. Sacrifice the $25 for yourself, and you’ll not have any regrets about what God will do. I’d like to ask you to join me THIS SUNDAY EVENING AT 6 PM, for an hour of prayer for this special weekend.

November 14th – State of the Church – We’ll have a chance to hear about what’s been going on in the Church over the past year. This will be insightful, informative, and challenging. I hope you’ll make sure you’re here for this one.

November 21st – HEROES – We’ll be targeting servanthood and honoring VOLUNTEERS. With November being a month of Thanksgiving, what a great time to express our gratitude to God and to all of our volunteers!

November 28th – First Sunday of Advent – We’ll kick off the new CHRISTMAS SERIES: Where Heaven Meets Earth. It will be a great way to set us up for an awesome Christmas season.

The lineup is an exciting one. It’s also a great opportunity to include others. I want to commend you for your INVITING efforts. You guys have done a great job with this. Let’s continue this as we head into the Holiday season, because it’s one of those times when people are more open than usual to an invitation to something special. I’m thanking God for you today, and look forward to being with you this Lord’s Day!
