World Mission Broadcast, a ministry of the Nazarene Church

On the air since 1951, World Mission Broadcast exists to reach beyond borders and barriers to share the light of Jesus in the dark corners of this world. You can follow stories of those finding Jesus through the spoken Word via the airwaves on Facebook (www.facebook.com/WMBroadcast) or Twitter (http://twitter.com/WMBroadcast). This is just one of the many ways the Church of the Nazarene is spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. It only costs $4 per minute to broadcast from one of many stations around the world through radio, television and internet programs. Child Sponsorship

Nazarene Compassion Ministries Child Sponsorship program exists to advocate for children who are destitute. Following the instruction of Jesus, NCM partners with local Nazarene congregations around the world to clothe, shelter, feed, heal, educate, and live in solidarity with those who suffer under oppression, injustice, violence, poverty, hunger, and disease. By sponsoring a child we:

Provide a tangible expression of Jesus Christ’s love

Facilitate a personal relationship between sponsors and children

Equip children to use their God-given gifts within their families and communities while embracing Christ’s mandate to live a life of love and compassion

What does it cost to be a ChildSponsor? The financial cost of Child Sponsorship is just $25 a month. It's easy! For $25 a month, just 82 cents a day, (that’s just a soda a day, a latte a week, a shirt a month, or a 30GB iPod a year) you have the opportunity to feed, clothe, and educate a child in need. While building a loving and encouraging relationship through letters, your monthly participation gives a child a chance at a better future.

Look for a representative at the Welcome Center in the lobby where you can choose a child and begin blessing them by becoming a sponsor.

One of our LINKS missionaries, Monte Cyr and his family, will be at Salem Naz on Wednesday, June 23 at 7 p.m. You won’t want to miss hearing them share about their time in Africa and their move to a new field, Caribbean Region, where Monte now serves as the Youth Ministries Coordinator. His responsibilities include: training youth leaders, developing youth ministry resources and organizing youth ministry strategies throughout Cuba, Dominican Republic, Haiti, and the rest of the 25 countries of the region.

As LINKS partners we also have (retired) missionary Wandy Terry who served in Swaziland for 26 years. She taught in Teachers' Training College on our Manzini Station, was coordinator of VBS and taught Sunday school.
